About Amy’s Cookbook

Hello fellow foodies,

My name is Amy. I’m a Sydneysider who loves to eat, cook and write. As a child, I dreamed of becoming a baker, and as a young adult I aspired to become a food writer. These days, I’m a food blogger by night and an online product manager by day. It’s funny the way life pans out. Sometimes you don’t end up exactly where you planned.

And this brings me to my Amy’s Cookbook. I gave birth to it in July 2010 to help satisfy my foodie desires. What started as a bit of a hobby has become a full-blown obsession and something that I’d love to pursue as a full-time job. But for now, it’s still a hobby and something that I love to share with my readers.

On my blog, you’ll find recipes, cooking tips and restaurant reviews. Most of my more recent recipes are devoid of dairy and wheat as I’m not able to digest these foods very easily. I’d love to hear your feedback or suggestions, so please feel free to drop me a line at amyjmcintosh at hotmail dot com.

Happy cooking!

Amy

Hi Amy, a good prawn cocktail with delicious homemade mayo or tartare is one of my all time faves especially in summer and your wallpaper is one of the most vibrant and enticing ones I’ve ever seen. Hello summer! 🙂

Thanks for your lovely message! I love prawns too. They remind me of summer and childhood days spent peeling them by the kilo. 🙂
